Resources List Sunday March 15

During Quick Link Class 2 I will be discussing all kinds of "points" of informatiom that you can use in building your quick link.

I wanted to list a few of the resources for you

This is just a list and I will be adding to it...

If you are technically advanced...GO FOR IT.

If you are not pay attention to the offline and beginners tools I point out.

If you are not ready for all these tools...no worries...just know the list is here for you when you are ready :)

First:

BLOGGER

I have MANY blogs and this is the EASIEST platform to begin with if you are just starting out.

I will be illustrating with this platform so that beginners can follow me.

Blogger provides several BASIC designs and then once you get your whole quick link in place you can go back and fancy up your look.

You do this by searching in GOOGLE for Free Blogger Templates. There are many sites that provide free fancy themes for your blogs.

TRUTH...I did not work up to this for a LONG TIME...

Looking basic NEVER stopped me from making lots of money.

Here's what I like about blogger...It's FREE and it's EASY TO USE...

Therefore you can create a TON of interlinking blogs without a fuss.

There was a time before I had a clue about much on the net where I used them for MOST EVERYTHING.

Next:

Grand Central

This service owned by Google provides FREE voicemails!

Yes..I said FREE!

They have a TON of features and can even right through to your home or cell phone.

You need to sign up NOW as it takes a week or so to get a number.

Next:

BYO Audio

This is the service I use to record short audio clips, testimonials as well as full length conference calls.

You can easily copy and paste a code and have audio on your site.

This is a paid service. If you are on a budget you add this later on.

Next:

Aweber Autoresponder

An autoresponder is CRITICAL and this is the ONE TOOL you should buy if you are on a budget.

If you are going to have a quick link you NEED to have a way to CAPTURE your visitors so you can CONTINUALLY push people back into your content.

All of my sites have a place for people to enter there contact info and as you wilol see..one of the way I know I have a hot person is I can see them jumping from site to site and opting in all over the place.

Next:

Sitemeter

Some of you may know of fancier tracking services but this is my favorite one.

This free tool allows me to see the number of visitors I get in a day...how they found me...how long they stayed..where they are from and their "ip address" which is a sort of computer id#.

This is another way I know when I have a HOT PROSPECT as I can see them jumping from site to site to site.

Last for today:

WordPress and WordPress Direct

WordPress is the most popular blog platform out there today for many reason...
Most importantly search engine recognition...

They have free versions and versions that you host on your own hosting service

The free ones are somewhat easy to use but the control panel is a bit more technical than Blogger.

The ones you host yourself involve installing them onto your server...

For low tech types...JUST SAY NO..or hire someone.

I do use a ton or WordPress Blogs these days as I found a service that makes installing them and "search engine optimizing" then a snap.

WordPress Direct

This is not an inexpensive tool so only look into it when you get more advanced and will be using a lot of blogs to create a lot of income.

Ok..there are some resources for today.

There are many more but I wanted to dump my head while I am thinking of it.
